Nairn Falls Provincial Park Campground
The star attraction is Nairn Falls itself — a dramatic tiered waterfall on the Green River, 39.6 metres tall and only a 1.5km walk from the campground along a beautiful riverside trail. It’s an easy, relatively flat hike suitable for most fitness levels and genuinely spectacular. From the campground you can also access One Mile Lake (a popular swimming spot just 2km away), the Coudre Point trail along the river banks, and the Sea to Sky Trail toward Pemberton town centre.
The campsites are large, well-spaced, and flat — great for kids on bikes and easily navigable for RVs up to 32ft. It’s ano-frills BC Parks experience — pit toilets rather than flush, hand-pump drinking water, no showers on site — but the sites are well-maintained and the price reflects the rustic facilities. Showers are available a short drive away at the Pemberton Community Centre for $4. Firewood is available from the park attendant at $9/bundle.
A few things worth knowing: sites closest to the highway can be noisy — aim for river-facing sites if you can, where the sound of the water drowns it out. The campground is heavily treed, which means solar charging is limited — bring a generator if you rely on one (permitted 9–11am and 6–8pm only). This park is 100% reservable through bcparks.ca and books up fast in summer — reserve well in advance.
Pemberton town centre is just 5 minutes away for groceries, fuel, and propane. An excellent base for exploring Joffre Lakes (30 mins), Duffey Lake Road (45 mins), and the upper Sea to Sky corridor.
