Squamish Valley Campground Squamish Valley Campground Squamish Valley Campground

Squamish Valley Campground is a large rustic campground located in the Upper Squamish Valley, about 30 minutes from downtown Squamish along Squamish Valley Road. Set on 195 acres of private land beside the Squamish River, the campground offers a quiet natural environment surrounded by forest, mountains, and glacier views.

The property features a private sandy beach and calm river backchannel, making it a popular spot for swimming, canoeing, and relaxing by the water. The spacious campground offers a variety of campsites scattered through the forest and along the river, with plenty of room for groups or travellers looking for a more secluded camping experience.

This is a rustic camping experience, meaning there are no water or electricity hookups at the campsites and facilities are basic. Pit toilets (outhouses) are located around the campground, and there are no showers or serviced RV sites, so campers should come prepared with their own water and supplies.

The campground is family-owned and operated and offers a peaceful alternative to busier provincial park campgrounds in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Wildlife sightings such as deer and eagles are common, and the area provides easy access to outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, and river rafting in the surrounding Squamish backcountry.

Squamish Valley Campground is best suited for campers looking for a quiet nature setting with lots of space, rather than full-service RV facilities.
