Whistler Blackcomb & PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola

Whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, Whistler Blackcomb is the centrepiece of any Sea to Sky trip and frankly needs no introduction. Two mountains, world-class terrain, and one of the most impressive gondola rides in North America — it’s a non-negotiable stop.

The PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola links Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains with an unsupported span of over 3 kilometres and reaches 436 metres above the valley floor — genuinely breathtaking even if you’ve seen a lot of mountain scenery. In summer, a Summer Alpine Experience ticket gets you access to gondolas, chairlifts, 50+ kilometres of hiking trails, alpine restaurants, and the Cloudraker Skybridge. In winter it’s one of the best ski and snowboard resorts in North America, full stop.

RV Parking: Park in the designated Oversized Vehicle area in Day Lot 3 East, off Lot 4 Road. Current rate is around $20/day — confirm on arrival. Important note: overnight sleeping in Whistler parking lots is prohibited and enforced with fines. Book a campground if you’re staying the night. Insider tip: buy your gondola tickets online at least a day in advance to skip the queue at the ticket office.

Hours: Winter lifts open at 8:30am. Summer lifts run 10:00am–5:00pm.
