Whistler RV Park & Campground
A 2026 Campspot Award winner for Top Campgrounds in Canada RV Lifestyle Experts, Whistler RV Park sits on a ridge south of Whistler with views that genuinely set it apart. The location is ridge-top with virtually no trees blocking the view north toward the ski resort Sanidumps — which means unobstructed mountain panoramas and, for those using Starlink or satellite TV, no signal issues. It’s a genuinely beautiful spot to wake up in the morning.
The park offers full-service RV sites with 15/30/50 amp power, water and sewer hookups, as well as pull-through sites for easy arrival. With 240 sites it’s a large operation, but well run — consistently praised for clean, modern facilities, friendly staff and a calm atmosphere. The on-site café does a decent breakfast, the coin-operated laundry is open 24 hours to the public ($3 wash/$3 dry), and there’s a surprising range of activities on site including disc golf, wiffle golf, paintball, ATV and dirt bike trails, canoe and paddleboard rentals, and horseback riding nearby.
One key thing to know: Whistler village is about 15 minutes away by car — this isn’t a walk-to-the-gondola situation. You’ll need your vehicle or a taxi to reach the village, but there is a free shuttle service available. The access road off Highway 99 is steep and gravel — take it slowly, especially in wet conditions. Note that towing trailers must be under 20ft and fifth wheels are not permitted — check this carefully before booking if you’re in a fifth wheel.
It’s pricey by campground standards, but for Whistler it represents solid value, and the ridge-top setting is something the in-town campgrounds simply can’t match.
